In this unit, we explored useful vocabulary of the characteristics of vertebrates and invertebrates. Through engaging games and Kahoot, the students were able to apply this vocabulary in context. In the younger classes, we started every class with Animal Yoga. This was a way for the students to recall vocabulary through movement., practicing the ways the animals move as we said their english names.
